Box dye that went too dark, highlights that came out stripy, color that turned orange, or a big change you’ve been nervous to try: color correction is how we get you from where your hair is to where you want it to be, as gently as possible. Every correction at BR Collective starts with an in-person consultation, and every color step uses ammonia-free NATULIQUE color made with certified-organic ingredients.
What counts as color correction?
- Removing or lifting old box dye or built-up dark color
- Fixing banding, stripes or patchy color
- Correcting brassy, orange or green tones
- Evening out color after several different salons or at-home colors
- Big transformations, like going from dark to blonde
How it works
It always starts with a consultation. We look at your hair in person, talk through its history (be honest about box dye, we’ve seen it all), and check how healthy it is. Then we give you a plan, an honest timeline and a price before any color happens.
Then we take it step by step. Some corrections are done in one appointment. Bigger ones are safer spread over two or three, so your hair stays strong. We’d rather get you there a little slower than damage your hair to get there in one day.
Color correction prices
| Service | Price | Time |
|---|---|---|
| New Guest Color Consultation (start here) | $30 | 30 min |
| Color Correction | Price varies, quoted at your consultation | About 3 hr per session |
| Deep Conditioning Mask (add-on) | $45 | 15 min |
Correction pricing depends on your hair’s length, thickness, history and goal, which is why we always quote it in person. See the full service menu.
Frequently asked questions
How much does color correction cost?
It depends on how much needs to change, so we quote it at your $30 consultation after seeing your hair in person. You’ll know the price and the plan before we start.
Can you fix it in one appointment?
Sometimes. Smaller fixes like brassiness or uneven tone often take one visit. Removing dark box dye or going much lighter usually takes more than one, spaced a few weeks apart to protect your hair.
Will it damage my hair?
Our whole approach is to protect your hair while we fix it. We use ammonia-free color, go step by step, and add conditioning treatments where they help. If your hair isn’t ready for a step, we’ll tell you honestly.
